Ohio High School Basketball - Big Walnut knocked off by Westerville North
February 7, 2023: Westerville, OH 43081 The Westerville North Warriors basketball team scored 59 points and held the visiting Big Walnut Golden Eagles to 44 in the Warriors league triumph on Tuesday.
The Warriors now sport a 17-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Worthington Kilbourne for a Ohio Capital - Capital contest on Friday, February 10. Westerville North will battle a Wolves team coming off a 78-61 league win over Franklin Heights (Columbus, OH). The Wolves record now stands at 8-11.
The Golden Eagles (10-10) will now prepare for their contest against Ashland (Ashland, OH). The Arrows enter the non-league contest with a 7-16 record. In their last contest, Ashland was defeated by Mansfield Senior (Mansfield, OH), 70-61, in a league contest.
