Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Deshler Dragons (Deshler, NE) and the visiting Giltner Hornets (Giltner, NE), saw Deshler's basketball squad wallop Giltner by a tally of 50-20.

With the victory, Deshler improves its record to 9-10 on the campaign. The Dragons host Red Cloud (Red Cloud, NE) to confront the Warriors in a non-league challenge on Thursday, February 9. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 11-8. Red Cloud lost 67-66 in their recent non-league challenge against Kenesaw (Kenesaw, NE)

Next up, the Hornets confront the Silver Lake Mustangs (Roseland, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, February 9. Giltner will attempt to advance on its 6-10 season record. The Mustangs go into the test with a 7-12 record after their 39-35 non-league win over Franklin (Franklin, NE).
