Ohio High School Basketball - Franklin thwarts Monroe
February 7, 2023: Franklin, OH 45005 The Franklin Wildcats (Franklin, OH) basketball knocked off the visiting Monroe Hornets (Monroe, OH), 62-54 in Tuesday's league test.
The Wildcats (3-17) will now prepare for their test against Oakwood (Dayton, OH). The Lumberjacks go into the Southwestern Buckeye - East test with a 17-4 record. In their last test, Oakwood notched a victory over Waynesville (Waynesville, OH), 51-32, in a league test.
The Hornets now own a 9-10 record. They play next when they travel to Carlisle for a non-league test on Friday, February 10. Monroe will encounter a Indians squad coming off a 59-44 league win over Madison (Middletown, OH). The Indians record now stands at 17-3.
