In Tuesday's non-league match, the host Weir Red Riders basketball team scored a tight 62-61 triumph over the Harrison Central Huskies.

In their next game, the Red Riders meet the East Liverpool Potters (East Liverpool, OH) in a non-league match, on Saturday, February 11. Weir will attempt to better on its 13-7 season record. The Potters enter the match with a 13-6 record after their 53-38 league win over Indian Creek (Wintersville, OH).

With the defeat, Harrison Central moves to 11-8 on the year. The Huskies host Indian Creek (Wintersville, OH) to meet the Redskins in a Buckeye 8 match on Friday, February 10. The Redskins enter the match with a record of 10-10. Indian Creek lost 53-38 in their recent league match against East Liverpool (East Liverpool, OH)
