The North Central Eagles basketball team (Pioneer, OH), was nudged 55-54 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the visiting Maumee Valley Country Day Hawks (Toledo, OH)

The Hawks now possess a 10-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Northwood for a Toledo Area battle on Friday, February 10. Maumee Valley Country Day will battle a Rangers team coming off a 70-47 league loss to Ottawa Hills (Toledo, OH). The Rangers record now stands at 4-14.

The Eagles (8-11) will now prepare for their battle against Montpelier (Montpelier, OH). The Locomotives come into the Buckeye Border battle with a 6-10 record. In their last battle, Montpelier was nudged by Continental (Continental, OH), 37-36, in a non-league battle.
