The Tara Trojans (Baton Rouge, LA) basketball nipped the visiting Istrouma Indians (Baton Rouge, LA), 59-52 in Tuesday's league test.

The Trojans (10-12) will now prepare for their test against Episcopal (Baton Rouge, LA). The Knights go into the non-league test with a 8-10 record. In their last test, Episcopal got by Family Christian (Baton Rouge, LA), 45-33, in a non-league test.

The Indians now own a 11-18 record. They play next when they travel to GEO Next Generation for a non-league test on Wednesday, February 8. Istrouma will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 36-23 non-league win over Ascension Christian (Gonzales, LA). The Tigers record now stands at 9-14.
