Virginia High School Basketball - William Campbell tops Dan River
February 7, 2023: Naruna, VA 24576 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the William Campbell Generals (Naruna, VA) and the visiting Dan River Wildcats (Ringgold, VA), saw William Campbell's basketball squad knock off Dan River by a tally of 65-47.
With the victory, William Campbell improves its record to 4-6 on the campaign. The Generals travel to Nelson County (Lovingston, VA) to play the Governors in a non-league challenge on Friday, February 10. The Governors come into the challenge with a record of 7-8. Nelson County lost 39-36 in their recent non-league challenge against Appomattox County (Appomattox, VA)
Next up, the Wildcats play the Altavista Colonels (Altavista, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 10. Dan River will attempt to improve on its 5-11 season record.
