In Wednesday's league outing, the Tuscarawas Valley Trojans (Zoarville, OH) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Sandy Valley Cardinals (Magnolia, OH), by a margin of 57-23.

The Trojans (17-3) will now prepare for their outing against East Canton (East Canton, OH). The Hornets go into the non-league outing with a 11-8 record. In their last outing, East Canton smashed Newcomerstown (Newcomerstown, OH), 44-36, in a league outing.

The Cardinals now own a 8-13 record. They play next when they travel to Bellaire for a non-league outing on Wednesday, February 21. Sandy Valley will encounter a Big Reds squad coming off a 52-42 non-league win over Buckeye Local (Rayland, OH). The Big Reds record now stands at 14-8.
