February 7, 2025: Lancaster, TX 75146 The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Lancaster Tigers (Lancaster, TX) and the visiting DeSoto Eagles (DeSoto, TX), observed Lancaster's basketball team edge DeSoto by a margin of 57-55.
The Tigers (25-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Horn (Mesquite, TX). The Jaguars come into the 6A Region II District 11 challenge with a 18-13 record. In their last challenge, Horn edged Skyline (Dallas, TX), 63-55, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Eagles battle the Mesquite Skeeters (Mesquite, TX) in a 6A Region II District 11 challenge, on Tuesday, February 11. DeSoto will attempt to better on its 19-11 season record. The Skeeters come into the challenge with a 9-19 record after their 73-71 league loss to Waxahachie (Waxahachie, TX).
