February 7, 2025: Hudson, IA 50643 The Hudson Pirates (Hudson, IA) basketball edged the visiting Wapsie Valley Warriors (Fairbank, IA), 55-52 in Friday's league bout.
The Pirates now possess a 5-15 record. They play next when they host Dunkerton for a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 11. Hudson will play a Raiders team coming off a 76-73 non-league win over Baxter (Baxter, IA). The Raiders record now stands at 18-4.
With the loss, Wapsie Valley falls to 8-12 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Grundy Center (Grundy Center, IA) to play the Spartans in a non-league bout on Monday, February 10. The Spartans go into the bout with a record of 18-0. Grundy Center won 60-38 in their recent non-league bout against Dike-New Hartford (Dike, IA)
