The Merino Rams defeated the visiting Sedgwick County Cougars basketball squad by a final score of 59-49 in Friday's league outing.

Next, the Rams clash with the Akron Rams (Akron, CO) in a 3A/2A Lower Platte outing, on Thursday, February 13. Merino will attempt to upgrade on its 6-10 season record. The Rams come into the outing with a 8-8 record after their 40-33 non-league win over Byers (Byers, CO).
