February 7, 2025: Lafayette, LA 70501 Teurlings Catholic Rebels (Lafayette, LA) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting North Vermilion Patriots (Maurice, LA), 67-32 in a league match.
With the victory, Teurlings Catholic upgrades its record to 23-12 on the year. The Rebels travel to Westgate (New Iberia, LA) to face the Tigers in a 4A District 4 match on Tuesday, February 11. The Tigers enter the match with a record of 16-12. Westgate lost 39-35 in their recent league match against David Thibodaux (Lafayette, LA)
The Patriots now sport a 14-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host St. Thomas More for a 4A District 4 match on Tuesday, February 11. North Vermilion will face a Cougars squad coming off a 77-58 non-league win over Marksville (Marksville, LA). The Cougars record now stands at 26-4.
