Illinois High School Basketball - Schaumburg fells Palatine
February 7, 2025: Palatine, IL 60074 The Schaumburg Saxons basketball team scored 49 points and limited the host Palatine Pirates to 39 in the Saxons league triumph on Friday.
The Saxons now have a 18-9 record. They play next when they travel to Bartlett for a non-league game on Saturday, February 8. Schaumburg will confront a Hawks team coming off a 72-33 league loss to Glenbard East (Lombard, IL). The Hawks record now stands at 10-15.
With the loss, Palatine falls to 14-13 on the campaign. The Pirates host Wauconda (Wauconda, IL) to confront the Bulldogs in a non-league game on Saturday, February 8. The Bulldogs go into the game with a record of 8-17. Wauconda won 68-38 in their recent league game against Grayslake North (Grayslake, IL)
