In Friday's league contest, the host Queen's Grant Stallions basketball team scored a big 99-54 triumph over the Piedmont Community Charter Patriots.

The Stallions (19-7) will now prepare for their contest against Carolina International (Concord, NC). The Comets go into the 1A Metro 8 contest with a 18-6 record. In their last contest, Carolina International smashed Valor Preparatory Academy (Concord, NC), 85-59, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Patriots confront the Queen's Grant Stallions (Matthews, NC) in a 1A Metro 8 contest, on Friday, February 14. Piedmont Community Charter will attempt to better on its 9-11 season record.
