North Carolina High School Basketball - Queen's Grant knocks off Carolina International

February 11, 2025: Matthews, NC 28105

In Tuesday's league contest, the host Queen's Grant Stallions basketball team scored a good 68-56 win over the Carolina International Comets.

The Stallions (20-7) will now prepare for their contest against Piedmont Community Charter (Gastonia, NC). The Patriots come into the 1A Metro 8 contest with a 9-11 record. In their last contest, Piedmont Community Charter was topped by Queen's Grant (Matthews, NC), 99-54, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Comets battle the Valor Preparatory Academy Owls (Concord, NC) in a 1A Metro 8 contest, on Friday, February 14. Carolina International will attempt to better on its 18-7 season record. The Owls come into the contest with a 7-17 record after their 73-69 league loss to Jackson Day (Charlotte, NC).
