The Minden Whippets bounced the visiting Cozad Haymakers basketball squad by a final score of 63-29 in Friday's non-league outing.

Next, the Whippets clash with the Gothenburg Swedes (Gothenburg, NE) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, February 8. Minden will attempt to upgrade on its 18-2 season record. The Swedes come into the outing with a 15-1 record after their 54-40 non-league win over Minden (Minden, NE).

The Haymakers (5-16) will now prepare for their outing against Dundy County-Stratton (Benkelman, NE). The Tigers come into the non-league bout with a 13-5 record. In their last bout, Dundy County-Stratton was ripped by Southwest (Bartley, NE), 49-42, in a non-league bout.
