Kansas High School Basketball - Fort Scott overwhelms Parsons
February 7, 2025: Fort Scott, KS 66701 The Fort Scott Tigers basketball team scored 49 points and limited the visiting Parsons Vikings to 20 in the Tigers league triumph on Friday.
The Tigers now have a 13-3 record. They play next when they host Chanute for a Southeast Kansas game on Tuesday, February 11. Fort Scott will confront a Blue Comets team coming off a 41-33 non-league loss to Iola (Iola, KS). The Blue Comets record now stands at 2-12.
With the loss, Parsons falls to 2-11 on the campaign. The Vikings host Labette County (Altamont, KS) to confront the Grizzlies in a Southeast Kansas game on Tuesday, February 11. The Grizzlies go into the game with a record of 13-3. Labette County won 56-30 in their recent league game against Independence (Independence, KS)
