Louisiana High School Basketball - Pine routs Sumner
February 7, 2025: Kentwood, LA 70444 In Friday's league contest, the visiting Pine Raiders basketball team scored a big 53-17 triumph over the Sumner Cowboys.
The Raiders (20-4) will now prepare for their contest against Albany (Albany, LA). The Hornets go into the 3A District 8 contest with a 18-11 record. In their last contest, Albany smashed Bogalusa (Bogalusa, LA), 60-19, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Cowboys battle the Loranger Wolves (Loranger, LA) in a non-league contest, on Monday, February 10. Sumner will attempt to better on its 9-11 season record. The Wolves go into the contest with a 11-12 record after their 54-15 league win over Franklinton (Franklinton, LA).
