In Friday's league test, the South Stokes Sauras (Walnut Cove, NC) basketball squad knocked off the visiting Starmount Rams (Boonville, NC), by a score of 60-40.

Next, the Sauras encounter the North Stokes Vikings (Danbury, NC) in a 1A Northwest test, on Tuesday, February 11. South Stokes will attempt to improve on its 11-10 season record. The Vikings come into the test with a 12-10 record after their 44-34 league loss to East Wilkes (Ronda, NC).
