North Carolina High School Basketball - East Surry nips Forbush

February 7, 2025: East Bend, NC 27018

In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting East Surry Cardinals basketball team scored a close 47-40 triumph over the Forbush Falcons.

The Cardinals (5-16) will now prepare for their contest against West Wilkes (Millers Creek, NC). The Blackhawks go into the non-league contest with a 15-3 record. In their last contest, West Wilkes nipped Wilkes Central (Wilkesboro, NC), 69-39, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Falcons battle the North Wilkes Vikings (Hays, NC) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, February 11. Forbush will attempt to better on its 2-19 season record. The Vikings go into the contest with a 3-14 record after their 54-50 league loss to Surry Central (Dobson, NC).
