North Carolina High School Basketball - South Stokes fells Starmount
February 7, 2025: Walnut Cove, NC 27052 The South Stokes Sauras basketball team scored 63 points and limited the visiting Starmount Rams to 44 in the Sauras non-league triumph on Friday.
The Sauras now have a 13-0 record. They play next when they host North Stokes for a non-league game on Tuesday, February 11. South Stokes will confront a Vikings team coming off a 46-40 non-league loss to East Wilkes (Ronda, NC). The Vikings record now stands at 5-10.
With the loss, Starmount falls to 11-9 on the campaign. The Rams travel to Alleghany (Sparta, NC) to confront the Trojans in a non-league game on Monday, February 10. The Trojans go into the game with a record of 7-2.
