Maryland High School Basketball - Central ripped by Fairmont Heights
February 8, 2022: Capitol Heights, MD 20743 The Fairmont Heights Hornets basketball team scored 68 points and held the host Central Falcons to 38 in the Hornets league triumph on Tuesday.
The Hornets now sport a 3-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Crossland for a Prince George's County 3A/2A/1A contest on Thursday, February 10. Fairmont Heights will battle a Cavaliers team coming off a 68-22 league loss to Gwynn Park (Brandywine, MD). The Cavaliers record now stands at 2-8.
The Falcons (0-13) will now prepare for their contest against Douglass (Upper Marlboro, MD). The Eagles enter the Prince George's County 3A/2A/1A contest with a 9-3 record. In their last contest, Douglass triumphed over Friendly (Fort Washington, MD), 63-40, in a league contest.
