Maryland High School Basketball - Central ripped by Largo
February 3, 2022: Capitol Heights, MD 20743 The Largo Lions basketball team scored 92 points and held the host Central Falcons to 54 in the Lions league triumph on Thursday.
The Lions now sport a 9-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Douglass for a Prince George's County 3A/2A/1A contest on Friday, February 4. Largo will battle a Eagles team coming off a 62-44 non-league loss to Sidwell Friends (Washington, DC). The Eagles record now stands at 0-2.
The Falcons (0-10) will now prepare for their contest against Friendly (Fort Washington, MD). The Patriots enter the Prince George's County 3A/2A/1A contest with a 1-2 record. In their last contest, Friendly was routed by Largo (Upper Marlboro, MD), 68-45, in a league contest.
