Maryland High School Basketball - Largo crushes Central

January 29, 2022: Upper Marlboro, MD 20774

Largo Lions (Upper Marlboro, MD) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Central Falcons (Capitol Heights, MD), 84-35 in a league bout.

With the win, Largo upgrades its record to 7-0 on the season. The Lions host Friendly (Fort Washington, MD) to play the Patriots in a Prince George's County 3A/2A/1A bout on Tuesday, February 1. The Patriots go into the bout with a record of 1-1. Friendly won 46-36 in their recent league bout against Crossland (Temple Hills, MD)

Next up, the Falcons play the Gwynn Park Yellowjackets (Brandywine, MD) in a Prince George's County 3A/2A/1A bout, on Tuesday, February 1. Central will attempt to upgrade on its 0-8 season record. The Yellowjackets go into the bout with a 1-2 record after their 64-63 league loss to Oxon Hill (Oxon Hill, MD).
