Virginia High School Basketball - Great Bridge overwhelms Indian River
February 8, 2022: Chesapeake, VA 23325 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Great Bridge Wildcats (Chesapeake, VA) and the host Indian River Braves (Chesapeake, VA), saw Great Bridge's basketball squad wallop Indian River by a tally of 63-38.
With the victory, Great Bridge improves its record to 15-4 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Tallwood (Virginia Beach, VA) to confront the Lions in a non-league challenge on Thursday, February 10. The Lions come into the challenge with a record of 6-8. Tallwood won 65-62 in their recent league challenge against Ocean Lakes (Virginia Beach, VA)
Next up, the Braves confront the Grassfield Grizzlies (Chesapeake, VA) in a Southeastern challenge, on Friday, February 11. Indian River will attempt to improve on its 8-8 season record. The Grizzlies come into the challenge with a 4-8 record after their 55-31 league loss to Deep Creek (Chesapeake, VA).
