Ohio High School Basketball - Andrews Osborne Academy knocked off by Hawken
February 8, 2023: Gates Mills, OH 44040 The Hawken Hawks basketball team scored 56 points and held the visiting Andrews Osborne Academy Phoenix to 43 in the Hawks non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Hawks now sport a 11-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Beachwood for a Chagrin Valley - Chagrin contest on Friday, February 10. Hawken will battle a Bison team coming off a 72-67 non-league win over Trinity (Garfield Heights, OH). The Bison record now stands at 13-6.
The Phoenix (5-13) will now prepare for their contest against Gilmour Academy (Gates Mills, OH). The Lancers enter the Freelance contest with a 9-9 record. In their last contest, Gilmour Academy ran past St. Charles (Columbus, OH), 47-46, in a non-league contest.
