Ohio High School Basketball - Independence overwhelms Lake Ridge Academy
February 8, 2023: Independence, OH 44131 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Independence Blue Devils (Independence, OH) and the visiting Lake Ridge Academy Royals (North Ridgeville, OH), saw Independence's basketball squad wallop Lake Ridge Academy by a tally of 78-48.
With the victory, Independence improves its record to 4-16 on the campaign. The Blue Devils travel to Trinity (Garfield Heights, OH) to confront the Trojans in a Chagrin Valley - Metro challenge on Friday, February 10. The Trojans come into the challenge with a record of 11-8. Trinity lost 72-67 in their recent non-league challenge against Beachwood (Beachwood, OH)
Next up, the Royals confront the Medina Christian Academy Knights (Medina, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, February 13. Lake Ridge Academy will attempt to improve on its 9-9 season record.
