The Leigh Longhorns basketball team scored 65 points and held the visiting Pioneer Mustangs to 50 in the Longhorns league triumph on Wednesday.

The Longhorns now sport a 14-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Branham for a Blossom Valley - Mt. Hamilton West contest on Friday, February 10. Leigh will battle a Bruins team coming off a 65-59 league win over Piedmont Hills (San Jose, CA). The Bruins record now stands at 17-6.

The Mustangs (10-13) will now prepare for their contest against Lincoln (San Jose, CA). The Lions enter the Blossom Valley - Mt. Hamilton West contest with a 10-12 record. In their last contest, Lincoln was defeated by Independence (San Jose, CA), 57-55, in a league contest.
