The Mesilla Valley Christian School SonBlazers smashed the visiting Animas Panthers basketball team by a score of 61-28 in Thursday's league contest.

The SonBlazers now sport a 12-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Quemado for a A District 2 contest on Saturday, February 10. Mesilla Valley Christian School will battle a Eagles team coming off a 47-30 league loss to Magdalena (Magdalena, NM). The Eagles record now stands at 13-7.
