Wisconsin High School Basketball - Clinton knocked off by Whitewater
February 8, 2024: Whitewater, WI 53190 The Whitewater Whippets basketball team scored 57 points and held the visiting Clinton Cougars to 38 in the Whippets non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Whippets now sport a 13-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Oconomowoc for a non-league contest on Friday, February 9. Whitewater will battle a Raccoons team coming off a 58-47 league loss to Kettle Moraine (Wales, WI). The Raccoons record now stands at 11-12.
The Cougars (3-18) will now prepare for their contest against Turner (Beloit, WI). The Trojans enter the Rock Valley - Rock contest with a 17-5 record. In their last contest, Turner ran past Evansville (Evansville, WI), 50-48, in a league contest.
