The Ridgemont Golden Gophers (Mount Victory, OH) basketball nipped the visiting Cory-Rawson Fighting Hornets (Rawson, OH), 32-27 in Thursday's league test.

The Golden Gophers (4-15) will now prepare for their test against Riverdale (Mt. Blanchard, OH). The Falcons go into the non-league test with a 9-10 record. In their last test, Riverdale was tipped by Liberty-Benton (Findlay, OH), 60-25, in a league test.

The Fighting Hornets now own a 6-14 record. They play next when they host Arcadia for a non-league test on Saturday, February 10. Cory-Rawson will encounter a Redskins squad coming off a 61-37 non-league loss to Carey (Carey, OH). The Redskins record now stands at 16-4.
