The Panther Valley Panthers basketball team (Lansford, PA), was toppled 39-31 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Tamaqua Blue Raiders (Tamaqua, PA)

The Blue Raiders now possess a 16-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Minersville for a non-league battle on Saturday, February 10. Tamaqua will confront a Battlin' Miners team coming off a 59-49 league win over Schuylkill Haven (Schuylkill Haven, PA). The Battlin' Miners record now stands at 11-2.
