With the victory, St. John advances its record to 14-13 on the year. The Eagles host Ascension Catholic (Donaldsonville, LA) to face the Bulldogs in a 1A District 8 match on Monday, February 10. The Bulldogs enter the match with a record of 15-9.

The Gators now own a 10-21 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Maurepas for a non-league match on Tuesday, February 11.
