New Mexico High School Basketball - Springer bests Wagon Mound
February 8, 2025: Wagon Mound, NM 87752 The Springer Red Devils basketball team scored 69 points and limited the host Wagon Mound Trojans to 61 in the Red Devils league triumph on Saturday.
The Red Devils now possess a 9-12 record. They play next when they travel to Cimarron for a A District 5 game on Tuesday, February 11. Springer will confront a Rams team coming off a 75-66 league win over Des Moines (Des Moines, NM). The Rams record now stands at 13-6.
With the loss, Wagon Mound falls to 4-12 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Maxwell (Maxwell, NM) to confront the Bears in a A District 5 game on Monday, February 10. The Bears go into the game with a record of 19-3. Maxwell won 68-55 in their recent league game against Springer (Springer, NM)
