Connecticut High School Basketball - Ledyard edges Woodstock Academy
February 9, 2023: Ledyard, CT 06339 The Ledyard Colonels (Ledyard, CT) basketball nipped the visiting Woodstock Academy Centaurs (Woodstock, CT), 45-41 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Colonels (2-15) will now prepare for their test against Sports & Medical Sciences Academy (Hartford, CT). The Tigers go into the non-league test with a 12-5 record. In their last test, Sports & Medical Sciences Academy got by Granby Memorial (Granby, CT), 68-48, in a league test.
The Centaurs now own a 4-13 record. They play next when they host Waterford for a Eastern Connecticut II test on Tuesday, February 14. Woodstock Academy will encounter a Lancers squad coming off a 69-54 non-league loss to Windham (Willimantic, CT). The Lancers record now stands at 6-13.
