Nebraska High School Basketball - Meridian overwhelms Friend

Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Meridian Mustangs (Daykin, NE) and the host Friend Bulldogs (Friend, NE), saw Meridian's basketball squad wallop Friend by a tally of 51-22.

With the victory, Meridian improves its record to 18-6 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Silver Lake (Roseland, NE) to confront the Mustangs in a non-league challenge on Friday, February 10. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a record of 13-8. Silver Lake won 56-14 in their recent non-league challenge against Giltner (Giltner, NE)

Next up, the Bulldogs confront the Diller-Odell Griffin (Odell, NE) in a D2 District 1 challenge, on Friday, February 10. Friend will attempt to improve on its 2-18 season record. The Griffin come into the challenge with a 11-9 record after their 51-45 non-league win over Falls City (Falls City, NE).
