Nebraska High School Basketball - High Plains overwhelmed by Meridian

The Meridian Mustangs basketball team scored 52 points and restricted the visiting High Plains Storm to 22 in the Mustangs non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Mustangs now sport a 13-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bruning-Davenport/Shickley for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 26. Meridian will battle a Eagles team coming off a 60-30 non-league win over Nebraska Lutheran (Waco, NE). The Eagles record now stands at 14-3.

The Storm (9-6) will now prepare for their contest against Elba (Elba, NE). The Bluejays come into the non-league contest with a 3-11 record. In their last contest, Elba triumphed over Harvard (Harvard, NE), 39-26, in a non-league contest.
