The McCool Junction Mustangs (McCool Junction, NE) basketball knocked off the visiting High Plains Storm (Polk, NE), 46-29 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Mustangs (20-2) will now prepare for their test against Dorchester (Dorchester, NE). The Longhorns go into the non-league test with a 11-8 record. In their last test, Dorchester notched a victory over Hampton (Hampton, NE), 49-28, in a non-league test.

The Storm now own a 10-10 record. They play next when they host Bruning-Davenport/Shickley for a non-league test on Friday, February 10. High Plains will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 49-27 non-league win over Meridian (Daykin, NE). The Eagles record now stands at 17-5.
