Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Virginia Episcopal School Bishops (Lynchburg, VA) and the visiting Miller School of Albemarle Mavericks (Charlottesville, VA), saw Virginia Episcopal School's basketball squad hold off Miller School of Albemarle by a count of 54-49.

With the victory, Virginia Episcopal School upgrades its record to 10-9 on the campaign. The Bishops travel to Chatham Hall (Chatham, VA) to play the Turtles in a VISAA Blue Ridge challenge on Tuesday, February 14. The Turtles come into the challenge with a record of 5-14. Chatham Hall lost 50-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Covenant (Charlottesville, VA)

Next up, the Mavericks play the Virginia Academy Patriots (Ashburn, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, February 13. Miller School of Albemarle will attempt to upgrade on its 19-5 season record. The Patriots come into the challenge with a 19-6 record after their 72-66 league win over Riverdale Baptist (Upper Marlboro, MD).
