Arkansas High School Basketball - Corning nips Rector
February 9, 2024: Corning, AR 72422 Corning Bobcats (Corning, AR) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Rector Cougars (Rector, AR), 53-46 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Corning upgrades its record to 18-10 on the season.
Next up, the Cougars play the Marmaduke Greyhounds (Marmaduke, AR) in a non-league bout, on Monday, February 12. Rector will attempt to upgrade on its 13-14 season record. The Greyhounds go into the bout with a 20-16 record after their 58-54 non-league win over Newport (Newport, AR).
