January 22, 2024: Corning, AR 72422 In Monday's league outing, the Corning Bobcats (Corning, AR) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Piggott Mohawks (Piggott, AR), by a margin of 74-45.
The Bobcats (13-7) will now prepare for their outing against Gosnell (Gosnell, AR). The Pirates go into the 3A Region 3 outing with a 7-8 record.
The Mohawks now own a 0-15 record. They play next when they travel to Manila for a 3A Region 3 outing on Tuesday, January 23. Piggott will clash with a Lions squad coming off a 83-79 league loss to Osceola (Osceola, AR). The Lions record now stands at 10-13.
