Iowa High School Basketball - Davenport West overwhelms Muscatine
February 9, 2024: Muscatine, IA 52761 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Davenport West Falcons (Davenport, IA) and the host Muscatine Muskies (Muscatine, IA), saw Davenport West's basketball squad wallop Muscatine by a tally of 64-43.
With the victory, Davenport West improves its record to 17-6 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to North Scott (Eldridge, IA) to confront the Lancers in a Mississippi challenge on Tuesday, February 13. The Lancers come into the challenge with a record of 17-4. North Scott won 63-55 in their recent league challenge against Clinton (Clinton, IA)
Next up, the Muskies confront the Fort Madison Bloodhounds (Fort Madison, IA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, February 10. Muscatine will attempt to improve on its 5-15 season record. The Bloodhounds come into the challenge with a 10-8 record after their 57-41 league win over Keokuk (Keokuk, IA).
