Minnesota High School Basketball - Mankato West nudges Red Wing
February 9, 2024: Mankato, MN 56001 Mankato West Scarlets (Mankato, MN) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Red Wing Wingers (Red Wing, MN), 45-44 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Mankato West upgrades its record to 10-12 on the season. The Scarlets travel to Austin (Austin, MN) to clash with the Packers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 13. The Packers go into the bout with a record of 9-12. Austin lost 65-57 in their recent non-league bout against Mayo (Rochester, MN)
Next up, the Wingers clash with the Northfield Raiders (Northfield, MN) in a AAA Section 1 bout, on Tuesday, February 13. Red Wing will attempt to upgrade on its 6-17 season record. The Raiders go into the bout with a 6-16 record after their 67-60 non-league loss to John Marshall (Rochester, MN).
