Minnesota High School Basketball - Northfield can't hold off Mankato West
February 6, 2024: Mankato, MN 56001 The Mankato West Scarlets basketball team scored 44 points and held the visiting Northfield Raiders to 42 in the Scarlets non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Scarlets now sport a 9-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Red Wing for a non-league contest on Friday, February 9. Mankato West will battle a Wingers team coming off a 82-36 non-league loss to Mayo (Rochester, MN). The Wingers record now stands at 6-16.
The Raiders (6-15) will now prepare for their contest against John Marshall (Rochester, MN). The Rockets go into the non-league bout with a 15-6 record. In their last bout, John Marshall held off Century (Rochester, MN), 82-73, in a league bout.
