March 1, 2022: Newcomb, NM 87455 Northwest Falcons (Shiprock, NM) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad smash the host Newcomb Skyhawks (Newcomb, NM), 34-1 in a non-league challenge.
The Falcons now own a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host Navajo Prep for a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 3. Northwest will battle a Eagles squad coming off a 20-0 non-league loss to Kirtland Central (Kirtland, NM). The Eagles record now stands at 0-2.
With the loss, Newcomb falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Skyhawks travel to Kirtland Central (Kirtland, NM) to battle the Broncos in a non-league challenge on Friday, March 4. The Broncos enter the challenge with a record of 2-0. Kirtland Central won 20-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Navajo Prep (Farmington, NM)
