California High School Volleyball - Madera South nudged by Merced
March 1, 2024: Madera, CA 93637 The Merced Bears volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host Madera South Stallions to 1 in the Bears non-league triumph on Friday.
The Bears (2-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Templeton (Templeton, CA). The Eagles come into the non-league challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, Templeton nudged Nipomo (Nipomo, CA), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Stallions encounter the Laguna Blanca Owls (Santa Barbara, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, March 2. Madera South will attempt to move on its 4-3 season record. The Owls come into the challenge with a 6-1 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Pioneer Valley (Santa Maria, CA).
