March 1, 2024: Macon, GA 31210 The West Laurens Raiders (Dexter, GA) soccer bounced the host Howard Huskies (Macon, GA), 8-0 in Friday's league bout.
With the win, West Laurens moves its record to 3-3 on the campaign. The Raiders host Baldwin (Milledgeville, GA) to battle the Braves in a 4A Region 2 contest on Tuesday, March 5. The Braves enter the contest with a record of 6-1. Baldwin lost 3-2 in their recent league contest against Spalding (Griffin, GA)
The Huskies now have a 0-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Westside for a 4A Region 2 contest on Wednesday, March 6. Howard will face a Seminoles team coming off a 10-0 league loss to Perry (Perry, GA). The Seminoles record now stands at 0-7.
