New Hanover Wildcats (Wilmington, NC) followers left the game pleased Saturday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Myers Park Mustangs (Charlotte, NC), 11-2 in a non-league match.

With the triumph, New Hanover moves its record to 2-1 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Hough (Cornelius, NC) to confront the Huskies in a non-league contest on Wednesday, March 5. The Huskies come into the contest with a record of 1-1. Hough lost 4-2 in their recent non-league contest against Lake Norman (Mooresville, NC)

The Mustangs now possess a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ballantyne Ridge for a non-league contest on Tuesday, March 4. Myers Park will confront a Wolves squad coming off a 13-3 non-league loss to Parkwood (Monroe, NC). The Wolves record now stands at 0-3.
