Coming up next, the Chiefs clash with the Ruston Bearcats (Ruston, LA) in a 5A District 2 test, on Tuesday, March 12. West Ouachita will attempt to improve on its 9-8 season record. The Bearcats come into the test with a 12-6 record after their 7-0 non-league win over Evangel Christian Academy (Shreveport, LA).
The Vikings (9-8) will now prepare for their test against Byrd (Shreveport, LA). The Yellow Jackets come into the 5A District 1 test with a 3-13 record. In their last test, Byrd edged Red River (Coushatta, LA), 20-1, in a non-league test.
