Virginia High School Softball - Parry McCluer bounces Nelson County
March 11, 2024: Lovingston, VA 22949 Parry McCluer Fighting Blues (Buena Vista, VA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Nelson County Governors (Lovingston, VA), 15-11 in a non-league challenge.
The Fighting Blues now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Temple Christian for a non-league challenge on Friday, March 15.
With the loss, Nelson County falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Governors host Buffalo Gap (Swoope, VA) to battle the Bison in a non-league game on Wednesday, March 13. The Bison come into the game with a record of 0-0.
